RACAL-CHUBB FORMS NEW COMPANY, RACAL GUARDATA FINANCIAL SYSTEM

By CBR Staff Writer

Security is such a hot ticket these days that Racal-Chubb Ltd one of those companies you get thrown in for less than nothing when you buy Racal shares (see item alongside) – is rushed off its feet by demand for security systems from the international financial community: as a result it has created a new company, Racal-Guardata Financial Systems Ltd to concentrate all its efforts on the new market; formed only two years ago, Racal-Chubb Data Security is already a UKP10m-a-year business, and hopes are high at Racal that the new specialist company will be taking off in a similarly stratospheric manner.
