SNA software emulation specialist Rabbit Software Corp, Malvern, Pennsylvania has introduced a new release of its RabbitController remote workgroup controller that includes IBM 3299 terminal multiplexor support, increasing the number of co-axial devices that can be attached through RabbitController to 11 from four. In tot-al, RabbitController can now attach up to 11 co-ax devices, four ASCII devices and a parallel printer. In addition, the new release provides support for Distributed Function Terminal devices and User Assignable Logical Units. The new release of RabbitController, RC 509, is out now in the US at $3,495. Upgrade kits for users with RC 500 RabbitControllers and CTi Data Corp 5000 controllers can upgrade for $495.
