Citicorp’s Quotron Systems Inc has added the Open Windows family of software applications that operate in the Microsoft Windows environment to its portfolio so that its MS-DOS customers can integrate Quotron financial information with applications such as the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet: QuotData enables users to create local databases of Quotron real-time market data for use with custom and off-the-shelfsoftware; QuotChart is a real-time charting and technical analysis package fed by the QuotData application; and QuotTerm, a terminal emulation package, permits quick access to all Quotron financial information services while allowing the user to view other MS-DOS applications at the same time; users can buy any one or all three Quots.
