QUME UK ANNOUNCES NEW PRINTERS BUILT AROUND XENOGRAPHIC ENGINE

Qume UK has announced two new printers built around a Casio liquid crystal Xerographic engine; both printers run at six pages a minute with a print resolution of 300 by 300 dots per inch; the CrystalPrint WP emulates the Diablo 630 ECS and the Qume Sprint 11 and can be connected to MS-DOS micros through the IBM parallel PC interface; the CrystelPrint Series 11 emulates the HP LaserJet Series 11, it has as standard a 512Kb memory which can be upgraded to 1.5Mb and two interface protocols, the IBM parallel and RS232 serial, are included; the CrystalPrint WP retails at UKP1,000, while the Series 11 costs UKP1,500.
