Quit Pro launches app for Android just in time for New Year’s resolutions

The app, which has been launched for Android, aims to help people quit smoking.

By Kate Heslop

Quit Pro, a mobile-based app that helps users reach their goal of quitting smoking, has been made available for Android.

The app first launched for iOS a year ago and has already helped more than 130,000 people stop smoking.

Quit Pro helps to easily track information about when smokers crave a cigarette, along with what moods or emotional triggers might lead to smoking.

The app also has a social feature that allows users to share their progress with friends, monitoring either how long a person has quit for or how much money has been saved from not buying cigarettes.

Quit Pro can also identify places where users smoke most, and highlights the financial and health benefits of quitting smoking.

The Android version has been launched just in time for people to start making their New Year’s resolutions, with many people aiming to quit smoking in 2014.
