The Amiga multimedia home computer may look dead but it refuses to lie down, and although rights to the machine reverted to the German receiver of Escom AG after would-be rescuer Visual Information Services Inc of Chicago failed to find the $20m it needed to buy Amiga Technologies, according to Bloomberg Business News, QuikPak Inc of Norristown, Pennsylvania, which was already licensed to make top-of-the-line Amigas (CI No 2,841), has now put in a bid for the company.
