Quantum Corp, Milpitas, California has appointed La Commande Electronique SA, Paris as its exclusive French distributor for the new Quantum ProDrive Series of 3.5 hard disk drives: La Commande has been the exclusive French distributor for Ashton Tate products since 1981 and also distributes TOPS and Orchid products, turning in $3.1m profit on $42.6m sales last year.
