Quick off the mark, Quadram Corp, Norcross, Georgia has announced the first board to use Chips & Technologies’ new single chip emulator (CI No 794 – well actually, we had the Quadram announcement before we got the chips one, and it has been ly-ing around on the disk, but we shouldn’t really let you into all our little secrets): MainLink II will ship in December in the US, uses just 16 parts so that power consumption is 25% less than for an IRMA board, and costs from $400, and will be available in half-card and Micro Channel-compatible sizes.
