Qtel Teams Up With Al Koot, AXA

To provide insurance services for employees in Qatar

By CBR Staff Writer

Qtel has selected Al Koot Insurance & Reinsurance Company and AXA Insurance Gulf to provide comprehensive insurance services and million Riyal coverage for employees in Qatar.

The new scheme, developed in partnership with Al Koot and AXA, replaces the pre-existing health insurance program offered to all Qtel employees, and extends the range of benefits provided to include all family members. The health insurance program covers general healthcare, optical, maternity and dental coverage, among other key benefits.

As per the terms of the policy, Qtel will have access to a network of clinics and hospitals for direct settlement in Qatar and globally, supported by Al Koot and AXA’s international expertise.

Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, executive director of Group Human Resources, said: “This alliance between Qtel, Al Koot Insurance and AXA brings together the best international and local resources to ensure that Qtel employees enjoy full peace of mind regarding their health insurance. We care for our employees as part of the Qtel family, and we believe that this investment in this far-reaching insurance programme is an essential part of our support for them.”
