Qsan, a provider and develper of RAID controller focusing on iSCSI / IP SAN for small and medium businesses has launched F400Q FC & iSCSI multiprotocol storage systems.

According to the company, these storage systems are designed for high availability applications and featured with Fibre Channel and iSCSI ports in each RAID controller.

The company claims the iSCSI ports can be activated for Qsan’s system built-in remote replication function – QReplica or used for widely approved iSCSI functions.

The multiprotocol feature enables users to integrate the applications and data from the FC and IP networks in the same F400Q storage system without extra infrastructure cost.

The FC & iSCSI multiprotocol host interfaces and expansion port enalbes users to build their storage plan with flexibility and expansion.

Qsan Q series storage systems provide dual-active RAID controllers, redundant and hot pluggable components, data protection including writeable snapshot and remote replication, optimised firmware, no system down time when upgrading firmware.
