PYRAMID TO MARKET SUN WORKSTATIONS WITH ITS RISCs

Sun Microsystems Inc and Pyramid Technology Inc, both of Mountain View, California, have signed an OEM agreement worth $15m over 18 months, under which Pyramid will be able to offer comprehensive integrated systems tying together Sun workstations and servers in networks of large Pyramid database and networking servers from the company’s new 9000 series of top-end Reduced Instruction Set Unix minis.
