PYRAMID SELLER TITAN SETS UP WEB SITE

By CBR Staff Writer

Technology will always be exploited for the good of mankind by good people, and for ill-gotten gains by others, and it seems Titan, an illegal money-making scheme that stung 12,000 UK investors for more than 17m pounds last year, and appeared in the US as Titan International LLC, is set to return as Titan III through the internet. Investigators at the UK Department of Trade & Industry have apparently been alerted that Titan III has set up in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands, and plans to contact potential investors in its pyramid-style money making scheme through the internet. Dutch firm Web Guide, which sets up web sites for customers, confirmed Titan had been registered as a site at the request of a Mrs Humphreys.
