By CBR Staff Writer

Pyramid Technology Corp has put a version of Novell Inc’s NetWare for Unix network operating system up on its multiprocessing systems: Pyramid has added symmetric multiprocessing extensions and says the resulting implementation – Pyramid NetWare SMP – will enable users to tie Novell networks in with their high-end Unix systems; running as an application under Pyramid’s Data Center/OSx operating system, it costs from $9,000 for up to 32 users and $20,000 for 256 users.
