Pure Software Inc of Sunnyvale, California announced definitive agreement to acquire Performix Inc, a provider of client-server load and performance testing tools. Pure will pay 1.875m shares, currently worth $73.6m for Performix, based in McLain, Virginia; Performix claims AT&T Corp, British Telecommunications Plc, Electronic Data Systems Corp, Sprint Corp, Standard & Poor’s Corp and Federal Express Inc among its customers.
