Under the terms of this deal, Psion Teklogix has supplied the hardware and an optimized wireless technology (802.IQ) which PwC has installed, integrated and will support in warehouse environments of one of its clients.

PwC, consultants to the customer, were chosen to implement the inventory control system, which entails warehouse management software, hand-held and vehicle-mount computers, all of which run on the 802.IQ optimized radio network. In conjunction with the installation PwC designed the data center, wireless network, and PC rollout. The system has been implemented in a 1.5 million square foot facility, with 150 users, of one of the largest discount retailers in the USA.
