Apropos IBM’s efforts to enforce its trademark rights in the name PS/2 (CI No 805), a Computerworld reader points out that some years ago, Scott Paper Co trademarked P.S.: yes, you guessed it, P.S. stands for Personal Seat, those nasty disposable paper seat covers that are supplied in hotel lavatories for your personal protection.
