The new, enhanced contract will leverage Prometric’s test development, delivery, scoring and reporting services, and will incorporate Internet-based data reporting. The addition of these web-based services will allow real-time data transfer and communication of candidate information and results between Prometric and South Carolina, making the program more reliable and efficient.
The computer-based program will leverage some of the ground work done earlier in the partnership permitting South Carolina to pass along substantial cost savings to its candidate population.
Ray Kelly, senior vice president of client services of sales and marketing at Prometric, said: Our collaborative relationship with the SC Department of Insurance has given us true insight into the specific, evolving needs of its 26 testing programs, including the need to incorporate real-time data communications. This partnership allows us to design new program elements and updates that will very positively impact SC’s candidate base while helping it realize business efficiencies.
