PROLIN, a provider of IT Service Management (ITSM), has launched PROLIN Smart Suite 10 to replace HP Service Desk 4.5.
PROLIN Smart Suite 10 includes both PROLIN’s new Power Server 10 and the latest release of PROLIN Smart Client.
PROLIN’s Smart Suite 10 offers ITSM offering designed to transition HP Service Desk installations to PROLIN’s ITSM as a Service in a non-disruptive, three-step process, and requires no migration and mitigates risk, as it can replace old HP Service Desk systems.
The new platform is compatible with HP Business Technology Optimisation (BTO) products and HP Service Desk customisations, reporting, and third-party integrations.
PROLIN Power Server 10 is based on Microsoft .NET and nHibernate, and is designed for compatibility with the old HP Service Desk 4.5 Application Server and Database.
Power Server 10 delivers speed and performance, while extending the life of HP Service Desk installations with transition to the future of ITSM as a Service, the company claims.
Smart Client 10 delivers high-performance, smart client interface, as an add-on to, or replacement for, the HP Service Desk 4.5 client, PROLIN said.
PROLIN chief commercial officer Jim O’Gara said it offers seamless transition to a new level of ITSM services versus a costly and disruptive migration/replacement to HP Service Manager 7 or other non-HP alternatives.
