Project Manager Online, a provider of project planning software, has introduced new version of its desktop project plan software tool ‘Project Plan’, which offers an easy to use compatibility features with Microsoft Project.
The new offering is compatible with MS Project and allows users to open MS Project files, edit them, and then save them again as MS Project files, and its simple to use and low cost makes it an apt software for SMBs.
Project Manager Online president and CEO Jason Westland said the company understands that Microsoft Project has basically set the bar in the project management software industry.
"So it is definitely in their best interest and their customers’ best interest to make sure that their product interacts fully and easily with MS Project," Westland said.
"Project Plan is the only software in the world that allows you to both open MS Project files and save MS Project file formats from right within the software, and it can’t be any simpler than that," Westland said.
