PROGRESS SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT TO AQUIRE INTELLIGENT BUSINESS PROGRAMS

In a bid to grow its fourth generation language and relational database system in the Unisys Corp Convergent market, Progress Software Corp has signed a letter of intent to acquire CTOS/BTOS specialist Intelligent Business Programs of Livonia, Michigan: Progress has been available on Unisys machines since 1988 when Intelligent Business Programs was commissioned to do some development work for Progress; around 3,000 licences have now been sold for Unisys’ N-Gen and B20 kit.
