Profit Technology Inc, New York, has acquired Osprey Business Software Inc of Marlboro, New Jersey (nothing to do with the Osprey down in Hampshire): the acquisition gives Profit exclusive US rights to Osprey’s line of eight-module business accounting programs for MS-DOS micros, which includes both a Junior single user version and a Senior multi-user version with networking capabilities and is claimed to be in use by more than 50,000 companies worldwide and to be the best-selling software here in the UK.
