Procom Technology Inc, the Irvine, California storage network developer has bought two of its distributors in Europe and plans to expand their operations centered around its NetFORCE product line. It is buying Gigatek Srl, an Italian operation and the Swiss-based Pera AG. Last week, Procom’s share price crashed by 30% after the company issued a profit warning and blamed declining sales of its CD-ROM servers (CI No 3,593).
