Glovia International LLC, an enterprise resource planning software developer, says its eponymous ERP package can now be web-enabled with minimal HTML programming, thanks to advances from Pro-IV Inc, a sister company.
Glovia is aimed at technology manufacturers and is based on Pro-IV’s application development 4GL and JavaSuite technology. Pro-IV JavaSuite, running as an application or brower-based applet, allows Glovia transactions to be carried out over the web or a corporate intranet.
Glovia is a joint venture between Fujitsu Ltd and McDonnell Information Systems Group Plc (MDIS). Pro-IV is a US subsidiary of MDIS. Although a relatively low profile package, the Glovia ERP applications are used by Dell, Fujitsu and i2 Technologies.
