PRINCETON GRAPHICS’ AIMS ULTRASYNC VDU AT IBM’s PS/2

By CBR Staff Writer

First out of the traps with a display terminal for the IBM Personal System/2 is Princeton Graphics Systems, Princeton, New Jersey, which yesterday announced the Ultrasync colour monitor with auto-sensing, multifrequency vertical and horizontal scanning; it can also be used with the IBM Personal, XT and AT and Apple’s MacIntosh II, and is compatible with new adaptors introduced for the new IBM boxes. The $795 unit has 12 screen and automatically synchronises with any horizontal scan frequency in the 15KHz to 35KHz range, any vertical in the 50Hz to 120Hz range.
