PRIME SHARE PRICE IS HEADING SOUTH

By CBR Staff Writer

Following MAI Basic Four’s decision not to take Prime Computer Inc’s confidential information on the grounds that Prime was making the release conditional on MAI completing the acquisition at not less than $20 a share, it’s dollars to doughnuts that MAI will withdraw its $20 a share tender offer, and by no means certain that it will come back with a new bid at a lower price; all bets are off as far as the market is concerned, and the Prime share price is heading south fast; bucking the raging bull trend on Friday, Prime shares fell another $0.625 to close at $15.25 and are likely to go on down this week.
