PRIME COMPUTER HAS CONTRACT FOR SUPERMINIS AND SOFTWARE FROM BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR PHILADELPHIA

Prime Computer Inc is celebrating a lusty $8m plus contract for four 6350 superminis and software to automate administration for the Board of Education for Philadelphia: the Philly school district is the fifth largest in the US 196,000 students on its rolls, in 253 schools, and the system will handle everything from attendance through scheduling to allocation of grades.
