Drinkers among us don’t always like the idea of theme pubs springing up all over the place, but here’s one that sounds quite novel. Due to open in London next year is an establishment called Wall Street and, like the stock exchange, the price of beers and other drinks will fluctuate the more or less the pub sells during an evening. Their current prices will be displayed on a large electronic board and when your drink is put through the till that’s what you pay. They even have software that monitors how a drink is doing and will automatically rise or fall in price. The management promises the occasional crashes, where the prices of all drinks plummet.
