The president and chief executive of the Open Software Foundation alternative Unix club, which moves into its permanent base in Cambridge, Massachusetts this month, is to be Computer Associates International Inc’s executive vice-president for planning, David Tory, who will be taking a leave of absence to join the Foundation.
