BNX Authenticated Sign-On currently allows Prescription Solutions call center employees to gain secure access to applications with information about membership data, prescription fulfillment and customer service. The system integrates with Sony Puppy FIU-600 fingerprint identity devices for primary authentication and is being used to enable single sign-on for applications running in a variety of environments.
Upon full deployment, 1,200 employees are expected to use the system.
According to an ROI study conducted by Prescription Solutions, the company’s application access time has been cut by 75 percent. It also projected improved worker productivity with savings of 8.5 minutes per user, per day, in the logon process. In addition, the study estimated about $200,000 a year in overall savings due to reduced logon times, and a reduction in help desk calls.
