PREDATORS NOTE SINGER SHARES TAKE A TUMBLE

Singer Co, now a pure defence electronics company, is regarded by the cognoscenti as one of the most attractive defence plays around, and any prowling predator will not miss the fact that the shares have taken a tumble after the company warned last week that it will report a second quarter loss of about $20m after taking a pre-tax charge of $45m to cover higher than expected costs on three aerospace projects.
