PrecisionPoint said its Business Warehouse 3.0 is more scalable, and that it now supports Microsoft’s latest business intelligence portfolio – SQL Server 2005 and its acquired ProClarity analytics platform – and other new products like Office 2007 and SharePoint Services.
The warehouse works exclusively against data managed by Microsoft’s Dynamic AX (Axapta), NAV (Navision) and GP (Great Plains) suite of finance, sales, CRM, and supply chain applications that are largely aimed at small and medium sized businesses.
PrecisionPoint customers include Boehringer-Ingelheim, Sega Europe, and TomTom International.
Our customers are proof positive that a robust, self-maintaining business warehouse not a set disconnected cubes or reporting bolt-ons can be delivered and maintained at a reasonable cost with Microsoft’s BI tools like SQL Server 2005 and Office 2007, said Dr Nigel Geary, Founder and CEO of PrecisionPoint Software.
PrecisionPoint, which changed its name from AnalySoft Development Ltd, unveiled the software at Microsoft’s EMEA Convergence 2006 conference in Munich, Germany.
