PQ Labs, a provider of large Multi-Touch TV screens, iTables and multitouchWalls, has launched the new 21.5", 24", and 27" true MultiTouch screens.

The MultiTouch technology screen can detect and track up to 32 touch fingers simultaneously enabling users to interact with the computer.

The company claims with PQ Labs technology, new design users can now have multi-touch experience directly from their computer monitors.

The basic version of the PQ Labs overlay can detect up to 6 touch fingers simultaneously and the Plus version can detect up to 32 touch fingers, which is more than enough for the size of a 24 inch screen.

To experience the true Multi-Touch user interface, users have to attach the overlay to the display and plug the USB cable to the computer, the company said.

PQ Labs CEO Frank Lu said users can now build the 3D models and dream scene in the computer, control and interact with it naturally using Multi-Touch gestures.

The company said the 24" and 27" model will be ready to ship in January 2011, while the 21.5" model will be available in later Q1, 2011. The PQ Labs Multi-Touch overlay can work with any of existing PC monitors or any new monitors.
