HP has launched eight new devices, including two Android based tablets dubbed Pro Slate 12 and Pro Slate 8, in addition to a 2-in-1 device running on Microsoft Windows OS.

The Pro Slate 12 is a 12.3-inch business centric tablet that has 1600 x 1200 HD resolution and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series processor. The tablet is offered with 2 GB of RAM and expandable memory of up to 32 GB with a micro SD card.

The tablet also features front-facing stereo speakers along with a 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera.

The HP Pro Slate 8 is the 8-inch version of the Pro Slate 12, also powered by with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series processor with 2 GB of RAM.

According to HP it is one of the first tablets by HP to feature Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The tablets are 8 mm thin and lightweight, making them easy to carry around.

The tablets are also packed with powerful computing and business-day battery and are available ith enterprise-grade security and manageability.

HP has also introduced a Qualcomm Snapdragon powered HP Duet Pen, designed to make the process of content creation and sharing faster and easier.

Apart from the tablets and pen, the company also launched HP Elite x2 1011 G1, an 11.6-inch diagonal 2-in-1 Windows device which can be used as a tablet and a laptop with Ultrabook configurations.
