Toshiba Corp has trimmed its fiscal 1997 forecast for personal computer shipments worldwide to 3.7 million, down 300,000 from the original projection. NEC Corp projects PC shipments this fiscal year to hit 4.07 million units while Fujitsu Ltd forecasts shipments of 3.8 million.
