Polystar has released the test tool Solver, which includes the feature VoLTE (Voice over LTE).
Solver SIP with the optional VoLTE feature simulates EPC traffic over the SGi interface to the IMS network (P-CSCF). Through the efficient VoLTE traffic simulation, the functionality, quality, reliability and ability of the IMS network can be tested and verified, said the company.
Polystar program director of Solver Hans Edman said they are really proud to offer this feature since we know there is a high demand for it in the market.
VoLTE is seen as the probable future voice technology of the 4G networks by a majority of operators and mobile network vendors.
By adding this feature to release 4.11 of Solver, Polystar says it would provide its customers with the means to efficiently test voice handling as well as the voice quality of 4G in their labs and networks.
