Oakland, California-based PocketThis’s software is designed to make it easier for carriers to sell services by using contextualization technology that determines whether users are at a desk or outside the office, in their own country or abroad, near a point of purchase or far from it.

The funding was provided by two new investors American River Ventures and Crosslink Capital, and existing investors Mobius Venture Capital, SeaPoint, and Innovacom.
