Plusnet has announced its Plusnet Mobile offering built on the EE network, which customers can now pre-register for.

The plan will launch on the 29 November.

There are several tariffs, with prices ranging from £5 to £15 per month and between 500MB and 4GB of data. Those pre-registering will get a better deal of £10 per month.

Plusnet broadband customers will have access to an offer called Mates Rates which will provide double the data on all standard plans, not including the pre-registration one.

plusnet-2The MVNO is a SIM-only deal, meaning that customers will have to have their own handsets, and follows a deal between Plusnet and LIFE Mobile.

The latter was initially launched by Phones4u and is now owned and operated by EE.

Andy Baker, chief executive of Plusnet, said to Uswitch.com: “This is an incredibly exciting moment in our company’s history.

“True to our Yorkshire roots, Plusnet has always prided itself on offering customers more for less, and extending our offering to include a mobile service is a natural next step as we move to become a full-service quad-play provider. “
