PLESSEY TO TAKE ANY MOVE THAT WILL CAUSE ITS SHARE PRICE TO RISE

Plessey Co Plc has turned its back on cross-shareholdings with friendly companies, and on poison pills, to frustate the GEC Siemens Plc bid, but will continue with other strategies such as the lawsuit over GEC Plessey Telecommunications, and any moves that will cause its share price to rise beyond what its tormentors are prepared to pay, according to the Financial Times.
