PLESSEY LOOKS FOR FURTHER ORDER WORTH UKP75m FROM COLOMBIA FOR SYSTEM X

Plessey’s success in landing that UKP15m order for 13 System X exchanges from Telecom Colombia could lead to follow-on business with the South American nation worth up to UKP75m, later this year. The only bone of contention is whether Plessey, which clearly won the order, will have to share manufacturing with GEC under their joint marketing agreement.
