PLESSEY FORMS JOINT VENTURE WITH KAUTEX WERKE

Plessey Co, which has a Birkbys Plastics subsidiary in Liversedge, is forming a new 50-50 joint venture in the same Yorkshire town with Kautex Werke AG of Bonn to make blow-moulded fuel tanks and other plastic components for the automotive industry: total investment in the venture is put at some UKP11.5m.
