After launching in Japan as Vita TV, Sony is set to launch its PlayStation TV in the UK, US and across Europe, along with PS4 update version v2.00.
PlayStation TV allows users to access services like movies and TV shows from PlayStation Store using third party apps.
It also allows users to download PSP, PS Vista and PS 3 games using the PS set-top box.
The set-top box supports DualShock 3 and DualShock 4 controllers and allows gamers to stream PS4 games.
The micro-console will cost $99 in the US and will go on sale in October, while it will hit the stores in the UK on November 14.
In mainland Europe, it will cost £78 while the UK prices have not been revealed by the company yet.
Sony is targeting those players who are looking out for a second screen or want to stream other games and access third party apps with one device.
Sony is also bringing v2.00 update, which is expected to take place by the end of 2014.
The update will allow players to create online local co-op experience to invite friends online to join the game.
