PLACINGS ON THE JAPANESE BEST-SELLER LIST

By CBR Staff Writer

Ascii Corp’s Candy2 was 10th on the Japanese best-seller list for December, where, needless to say, Lotus 1-2-3, $620 over there, was top of the tree; in fourth place was Microsoft’s Multiplan at $430 and available much longer than the Japanese 1-2-3, which only came out in September; Microsoft Chart $300, was in 8th place and the other places were filled by Japanese word processors such as Shinichi Taroo and Super Shunboo and a Japanese graphics package, also from Ascii.
