Struggling recordable compact disk and optical storage systems maker, Pinnacle Micron Inc is set to axe 25% of its workforce in and attempt to reduce operating expenses. The company hasn’t released any details about the lay-offs, but it is understood that it had 140 employees at the end of last year. Pinnacle reported second quarter losses of $4.9m from losses of $3.9m, on sales of $11.2m, a fall of 8.9%.
