Voorburg, Netherlands-based PinkRoccade, which is currently considering a takeover bid from Getronics NV, said the one-off charge would relate to additional restructuring in the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2004, on top of an expected charge previously announced of between 7m euros ($9.1m) and 10m euros ($13m).

Preliminary earnings before interest, tax, amortization and exceptional items for the twelve month period were 24m euros ($31.2m), on revenue that fell 5% to 703m euros ($913.9m). Taking into account the exceptional items, earnings before interest, tax and amortization (EBITA) would be between 7m euros ($9.1m) and 10m euros ($13m).

Last week, Getronics moved a step closer to sealing its intended takeover of PinkRoccade NV, confirming its 350m euros ($455m) cash offer for the business. Amsterdam, Netherlands-based Getronics said it intends to pay 14.3 euros ($18.6) in cash per PinkRoccade common share, which would value the entire share capital at 350m euros ($455m).
