PinkRoccade Local Government, an IT and advisory service provider to public sector agencies in the Netherlands, has chosen BMC Software’s business service management (BSM) platform to automate and manage its data centre services.
Under the agreement, BSM will enable PinkRoccade Local Government to increase customer service levels by shifting from reactive operations to proactive, predictive and preventative IT management.
BMC said that its IT automation capabilities will help PinkRoccade Local Government to eliminate events and service outages, slash the time it takes to repair problems, reduce costs by avoiding rip and replace measures, minimise risk and improve productivity by eliminating manual steps associated with administrative tasks in the data centre.
With BMC ProactiveNet performance management, PinkRoccade Local Government will be able to optimise application performance by learning and baselining application behaviours, pinpointing probable cause and initiating standardised triage and resolution, the company said.
Henri de Joode, director of infra services at PinkRoccade Local Government, said: “With a diverse IT environment to monitor and manage for our local government customers, we needed a foundation that would help us improve IT service quality, resource utilisation and scalability across the board.
“But more than just meeting our technical requirements, BMC’s BSM platform supports PinkRoccade Local Government’s unique business value of cost-effective and innovative IT services for our customers in the public sector.”
