Spanish company Picmatic SA has launched an Internet cabin, to give public Internet access for around 70 cents for five minutes, and hopes to sell at least 100 in Spain and 25 in the UK and Benelux this year. The cabins will be installed in public places such as railway stations, airports and hotels and apparently enable even the uninitiated to surf the net and create and send electronic mail. The company intends to add videoconferencing next year.
