PICK SHIPS PICK 386

By CBR Staff Writer

Pick Systems Inc, Irvine, California has begun shipping a 10-user version of the Pick operating system for 80386-based AT-alikes, and says that early users report over 50% better performance than with the same system running on an IBM AT. It comes with Basic, relational database, English-like database inquiry language, text formatter, four-level security system, virtual memory architecture, and built-in utilities, and a bridge between MS-DOS and Pick files; no price given.
