Gaming firm Zynga and Phosphor Games Studio, a development studio for entertainment, have partnered to offer Horn mobile games from App Store on iPhone and iPad and NVIDIA Tegra-powered Android devices.
Horn is a third-person action adventure game where anyone can explore and enjoy an engaging console-style world, all controllable by touch gestures.
Phosphor Games Studio director Chip Sineni said: "Our goal from the onset was to provide a console-style experience for mobile devices that can be played and enjoyed by anyone."
It is also is being optimised for Tegra 3 devices to include enhanced physics and additional physically simulated particle systems that respond to the player.
NVIDIA Game Content & Technology vice president Ashu Rege said: "By leveraging the Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor, exclusive enhancements in Horn will offer players stunning graphics along with deeply immersive gameplay."
Horn is available on iPhone and iPad in seven languages at launch, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean and Simplified Chinese, and aditional languages on Android devices including Polish, Portuguese and Japanese.
