PHILIPS AND MATUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL DISCUSS EXTENDING AGREEMENTS

In the regular decennial talks to renew their collaborative agreements that inter alia include a joint venture company, Matsushita Electronics Corp, in which the Dutch company holds 35%, Philips and Matushita Electric Industrial are discussing extending their agreements to cover semiconductors.
