Tango 3.5 Application Server is now available on Solaris from Pervasive Software Inc, which acquired Tango developer EveryWare Inc last February (CI No 3,508). The company says web application developers can now deploy Tango applications developed on Mac or Windows boxes to Solaris servers without rewriting any code. Tango Application Server for Solaris has ODBC drivers to access, manage and display database content, and can handle JavaScript, Perl scripts, Java classes and Java Beans as well. Developers also get PopCharts from Corda Technologies, which they can use to publish live graphs and charts on the web.
